JANET MELROSE

BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Janet Melrose graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a degree in Drawing and Painting.  She was the winner of the Andrew Grant Bursary.  Janet continued her studies in Florence at the Lorenzo de Medici School and has painted continually since graduation, professionally for the last ten years.  She works from her studio in Perthshire where she uses the influences of the natural world and our impact on it.  Janet exhibits regularly in galleries along with undertaking commissions for private collectors.
