BRIEF BIOGRAPHY




Toby graduated as a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Glasgow School of Art in 2000 and, having exhibited widely from 1999 to date, he had two solo exhibitions in 2007 – one in Norway and one in Glasgow.  He has had two residencies – again Norway and Arbroath as venues.  He has had several awards for his work including a shortlisting for the Salvesen Travel Award in 2007.  He has published a number of essays and his public commissions include the Mural for “The Exodus Café” Community Centre in Hillhouse.
