Alec Galloway

Brief Biography

Alec Galloway from Skermorlie is a seasoned and technically accomplished glass design artist. He enjoys a broad range of experience across a variety of work environments. He is a Master in Design from Edinburgh College of Art where he has been lecturing since 2000. He has had a large number of exhibitions and commissions over the years but this is his first art prize. He says: I continue to develop my skills in drawing and painting and, when time allows, will often be seen painting, sketching or taking photographs within the natural landscape. I have also been a professional musician since late teens and continue to play music, perform and write songs. The rest of the time is spent with my wife and three young children.
