ANTHONY TODD

Anthony Todd is a co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aspect.  Before establishing Aspect, he worked for five years at AHL, initially as Director of Financial Engineering and Product Development, before moving to Switzerland as Director of Marketing and Institutional Sales.  Prior to this role, he was a strategy consultant at Mars & Co., a Paris based consultancy.

He holds a B.A. in Physics from Oxford University and a M.B.A. from INSEAD in France.



CHARLES JAMIESON DA MFA PAI PPAI - Chairman

Charles Jamieson
Born in 1952, Charles graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1974 with two scholarships that allowed him to study for a Master of Fine Arts degree at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas. Returning to the UK in 1976, Charles started working in both the visual and performing arts and has continued to do so. His paintings are in collections around the world and he regularly exhibits in London at Duncan R Miller Fine Arts, Thompson's Galleries and The Richmond Hill Gallery. He also exhibits in many other galleries across the country. He is Past President of The Paisley Art Institute as well as Chairman of the Aspect Prize.

MICHAEL ADAM

Michael Adam is an entrepreneur.  He lives in Scotland with his family.  He is an avid collector of paintings by contemporary Scottish artists, and he is always looking for more wall space and new artists.  He believes that more people should buy more contemporary paintings.  His vision of the Kennox Prize - now the Aspect Prize - reflects this enthusiasm.

SELINA SKIPWITH

Selina Skipwith is Keeper of Art of The Fleming Collection.   She has directed the collection over the last thirteen years, firstly as a corporate collection and subsequently as a charitable foundation.  In 2000 she oversaw the creation of The Fleming-Wyfold Art Foundation - prior to the sale of Robert Fleming Holdings Ltd to Chase Manhattan - and The Fleming Collection gallery in Mayfair which opened to the public in January 2002.  She writes and lectures extensively both on corporate collections and on Scottish art, including A History of Scottish Art (Merrell, 2003).  She has been curator of numerous exhibitions in the UK and abroad.

LIZ KNOX DA(Edin) PAI PPAI

Liz Knox graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 1971 and studied drawing and painting under Sir Robin Philipson and David Michie. She is a past winner of the Aspect Prize and is currently President of Paisley Art Institute.

ALASTAIR PENDER

Alastair won the Prize in 2009. He graduated from Glasgow School of Art and went on to Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London where he received an MA in Fine Art.  He has been a trainee draughtsman, an Art Worker in the Gorbals, an artist in the Fuse Artist Project, an artist on Mentor Business Start-Up and artist in residence at the Lyth Arts Centre in Caithness.  He has had a number of exhibitions including Shoulder to the Wheel at Caledonian University.
